Any difference in blower motor - Matt - 09-02-2016 Is it just a case of air con and non air con? Need a new blower for the Rallye as it isn't the heater resister it's the motor that's completly gone. Unless there is something else to check before replacing? RE: Any difference in blower motor - Iaitoo - 09-02-2016 Checked the plugs on it? Mine died. + cable had fallen off it ![]() RE: Any difference in blower motor - Frosty - 09-02-2016 Pretty sure they are different as i think the resister is part of the AC heater motor. You checked you got a live down at the plug that goes to the blower motor? RE: Any difference in blower motor - Toms306 - 09-02-2016 Definitely different between AC and non-AC. Not sure if ph1 is different from ph2/3 though. RE: Any difference in blower motor - bashbarnard - 09-02-2016 Ph1 2 and 3 are all the same ac\non ac dependant. I've swapped enough of them around lol RE: Any difference in blower motor - Matt - 09-02-2016 It had power etc. It was really intermittent with working, some days it would work. It would randomly cut out. What plugs should I check/what pins on the plug? RE: Any difference in blower motor - Dreijers - 09-02-2016 Sounds like problem I had with mine. I just removed rubber cover on blower motor itself, and reconnected contacts. Motor still is noisy on speed 2, but it works all the time. I decided that motor is working ok, when connected directly to battery it blow full speed, so I ruled out motor itself, also checked all fuses and all were good, so only thing left was contact points. |
