Gaming pc help - tysonbully2k12 - 25-01-2016 heres the specs for sale full Acer gaming pc CPU: amd phenom ll x6 1100T 3.30ghz 8 GB ram 500gb HDD dvd-rw video: Asus gtx 550ti 1 GB dedicated for games 4 GB total. 780 watts psu 22 inches full HD LCD Acer monitor RE: Gaming pc help - bashbarnard - 25-01-2016 Not clued up on the amd stuff but the 550 ti will only just run most modern games due to being one of the lowest In the class to support dx11 which most require. 8 gb of ram is more than enough some games require 16 however this is VERY few I think I've only come across 1 cod ghosts. So id be factoring in an extra £150 in the future for a better card. That's all I can offer though as I don't run amd stuff. RE: Gaming pc help - tigerstyle - 25-01-2016 Doesn't scream to be all that powerful, but how much is it, what's your budget? I doubt i will be playing any newish top games. It will most likely be farming simulator and truck simulators. It comes with screen, keyboard, speakers and mouse. (25-01-2016, 10:15 PM)tigerstyle Wrote: Doesn't scream to be all that powerful, but how much is it, what's your budget? And 'runs GTA5 with ease' I highly doubt it, maybe at 30fps on the lowest possible settings RE: Gaming pc help - r3k1355 - 26-01-2016 The graphics card is pretty old, the asking price is pretty steep, especially for a ragged to hell old gaming rig. RE: Gaming pc help - toseland - 30-01-2016 550ti was, as others have said, the equivalent of the 4cylinder mustang.. it's still a mustang but it's not the v8.. That is an old card, unfortunately the gtx470s are more powerful. You can get a good gaming unit for £400. But that's for the unit only.. and needs a moniter keyboard and mouse to go with it. You can get a really nice benq moniter for under £90, keyboard and mouse for 40 for reasonable ones. This will be more than enough to give you good frame rates in most modern games at 1080p resolution... |
