Lights refurb - Mole man - 12-01-2016

So I bought some black masked headlights but looks like they have been laquerd as there seem to have peeled in places anybody got any recommendations on what I can do with them?

RE: Lights refurb - roland rat - 12-01-2016

Has it peeled on the inside of lens or the outside?

If it's inside then the only option you have is to split them again and repaint.

If its on the outside you can polish them with headlight restoration kits off ebay/halfords

On the outside mate, didn't no if they would be any good? I'll have to get one and give it a go

You can also have a go.with a cutting compound such as g3/g5 compound or even T-Cut

Could try a cutting compound with a attachment for a drill?

Yes that would work and even read people using toothpaste containing bicarbonate of soda to polish headlights lol
