Hdi cabriolet - aggyj17 - 28-11-2015 Thought I'd out up a little project thread about my Mrs cabriolet, we bought it for £400 with mot till may all that was wrong with it was a blowing exhaust from the cat wasn't a problem as a hdi engine was the plan from day one. I had a engine, gearbox and loom here already so was now just a case of buying cambelt, clutch etc and also picked up a hardtop for it. (shame it's green but will get it painted next year) And a few pics with the hdi engine in and running. And that's where I am now. Will be running a stage 1 map but as it's fir the Mrs a stage 2 isn't going to happen :-( RE: Hdi cabriolet - MY95 - 28-11-2015 Love these mate! Looks good, easy enough to fit a HDI to one? RE: Hdi cabriolet - aggyj17 - 28-11-2015 Yes mate pretty easy. Just need the loom that goes all the way to the bulkhead near the wiper so it's all plug and play really RE: Hdi cabriolet - Mattcheese31 - 28-11-2015 nice job, i'd like to xud or hdi a cabby one day . . RE: Hdi cabriolet - aggyj17 - 29-11-2015 Definitely go for it not to difficult to do. Hdi is more refined so thought that would be better for the cabby RE: Hdi cabriolet - aggyj17 - 08-01-2016 Soo quick update with this we have covered around 2000 miles in this now with no issues, also I think the Mrs wants to stage 2 with this as she has been driving my estate around quite alot recently and is complaining that this is now slow [FACE WITH TEARS OF JOY][FACE WITH TEARS OF JOY] |
