Rain sensor auto/intermittent wiper problems - camoturd - 25-11-2015

Hi girls and guys

Hvin just got a hdi estate. I have noticed the auto/intermittent wipers don't work and if I stop using the wipers the don't return back to re bottom of screen is there anything that would cause this?

Usually the motor itself if they are jerking and not parking.

You can strip and clean it but for lazy people like myself it's cheap and easy to replace the whole thing with a known working one.

Would that also explain why the rain sensor/auto doesn't work

you'll find that out when you replace the motor . .Smile if not then maybe the sensor.

Depends what you mean by doesn't work? If they are jumping/skipping/jerking in auto mode then yeah the motor should fix it. If they don't work at all could be a very broken motor (metal tab snapped off slow speed ring) or something else as well.
