Fmic installation advice - ashdturb - 19-11-2015
Needing some advice fitting a front mounted intercooler and any advice build threads photos of what people have done. To start off with what do people do with the fans on the radiator can you switch the radiator round or use a different one off another car?
Secondly looks tight to fit I know some have had the pipes coming from on end above or under the intercooler would prefer not to cut but ready to fit once I've got a bit of advice as it will be my first attempt at fitting one

Thanks bud what manifolds do people tend to run with I've been offered a xantia from a bloke round the corner but was just going to stick with the pug one and run a td04
And fitting a dual pass fmic do you get any extra lag ? Or isn't there much difference between them ?
Just reading the threads and there fore hdi's is there any difference between them and a Xud do I stil need the 406 manifold and turbo pipe or can I use the xud one or a xantia ?

Xantia is the most popular choice
if you can get one locally then do it

Can get the xantia mani for £30 do I need a 406 turbo pipe as the thread suggest for a hdi with mine being d t?

No those parts are different from hdi/xud..
Hdi guide is ok for front end though
