Did you guys keep your sound deadening under the bonnet?
Mine has the middle part hanging a bit. Think its designed that way.
Do you think I will notice much difference in noise if I remove it? Its pretty thick, maybe the tmic would be better off without it on top of it?

No no no, it's designed to funnel air over the tmic, only sack it off if you go front mount, otherwise you'll get bad heatsoak
