Hi folks! - bennyboyph - 19-10-2015

Have just acquired a forest green Phase 3, LX Diesel with the famous XUD engine.... Only 140k on the clock...

Can anyone recommend a good specialist in South London?

RE: Hi folks! - bashbarnard - 19-10-2015

A specialist for what? I thought phase 3s were dw8/10 xuds were only untill phase two. I could be wrong though.

Maybe it's a Phase 2 then!

It's a V reg

RE: Hi folks! - Niall - 19-10-2015

Welcome!
V Reg is the border of PH2 and PH3. They also did a "parts bin special" Ph2.5 which is what yours is i think.
Where abouts in south London are you?

RE: Hi folks! - Toms306 - 19-10-2015

That's a full ph3! Being an LX probably even has a ph3 front bumper. Most likely DW8 unless its been swapped though.

RE: Hi folks! - Niall - 19-10-2015

I didn't think they did steel wheels on any of the real PH3s?

RE: Hi folks! - bennyboyph - 19-10-2015

Displacement is 1868cc, so it's a DW8 - damn!

I'm in Streatham. Currently in my final year of Medical School, so just need a reliable little runner

RE: Hi folks! - Redordead89 - 19-10-2015

Stick wih the stock NAD if you just need a reliable little runner but the xud turboD would have served you up an extra 15 mpg+ on daily driving!
NAD engine will last forever if you get it properly serviced! ;-)
