Lowering Springs on stock shocks - Moh - 10-10-2015

I was suppose to be getting my car dropped 40mm this weeekend but that plan didnt work out

So now I have seen some 60mm lowering springs and wanted some information from you guys as to whether its a good or bad idea to use them with standard shocks or not?

These are the springs:

In an ideal world no. But in reality a lot of people run them with standard shocks. They are a bit bouncy like it though.

IMO, don't do it. -40mm is as low as you want to go on standard shocks. I had -60mm on my DT, and it ended up really crashy and shit. If you're going -60mm, get uprated shocks.

The lowering spring need to match with the sporty shock absorber, But you can fit the lowering spring with standard shock in reality with a bit or much bumpy on bridge jumping, Speed breaker !

Some sport absorber can be eliminate that symptom.

Hey just wondering ive got 306 hdi meridian 5 door which is on standard coil springs and shockers, Wanted to lower the front end and wanted to know if 30mm gti spring would fit on and if they would make any difference, Ive heard they increase the height instead of lowering it...
