Louis123's Blaze Dturbo - Louis123 - 03-05-2012
Been on for a while now, so decided to make a project thread.
My car is a 1.9 Dturbo Blaze 306 ph 2.5 I bought it in January and it has moved on quite a bit since then, paid £500 for the car all's it needed was glow plugs as the guy didn't have a clue about cars and couldn't understand why it wouldn't start lol.
Car is fitted with a Lucas fuel pump and T2 turbo and its covered 103,000 miles and is serviced every 6000 miles

Standerd wipers
Standerd aerial
Set of Gti6 Cyclones (refurbed and painted anthracite grey)
Ph 3 rear lights (smoked by myself)
Ph3 rear bumper
Ph2 front bumper
Crystal headlights
HID kit 8k bulbs
Ultra bright white side lights
Full stainless steel exhaust system with decat
Fitted sub & amp
Cd player
Debadged rear
Sigma alarm central locking fitted
Private reg fitted
List of what I plan on doing:
Stage 1 Tune DONE running 24 psi
Fit a boost gauge DONE
Fit a dump valve DONE
Repair all bodywork DONE
Full respray in Blaze DONE
Respray roof, mirrors, cyclones and badges gloss black DONE
De wiper DONE
Fit a Gti 6 front bumper DONE
Fit boost gauge to drivers side vent pod I made DONE
Full polish and clean engine bay DONE
Full service DONE
Fit wind deflectors DONE
Fit aero flat wiper blades DONE
Fit a FMIC DONE
TO DO!
- gti 6 rear axel
- straight through
- hdi rods
- oil catch tank
- oil cooler
- lower it
- td04
- bosch fuel pump
- clean up engine bay more
- mist jet washers
That's all I can think of so far will update as things come into my head

The bonnet did get fully primed in filler primer but didn't take a picture as I was so busy!
The car has been re-sprayed now but still needs roof, mirrors, wheels and badges going black so will get pictures when its all done properly and polished!

Yeah it was molded onto the bumper but like I said i replaced that with a ph2 standerd front bumper.

Just bought a dump valve of CJ on here its a collins twin piston one with full fitting kit, will be getting this fitted on Sunday.

Also just won a Gti6 Phase 3 front bumper this minute of eBay, no one was bidding on it and it was at £25 so I stuck a cheaky bid in and won it! Hope it gets delivered soon so I can get it resprayed and fitted to my car

sweet motor matey, just before i start Bosch it!!! trust me bigger mistake i did was taking 3 years to put a bosch pump on hahaLooking really good lad, done some serious bodywork there something i want to do how much that set you back

Respray in total cost be about £60 and that was only becuase I had to buy my own paint + laquer
I did it at college so used all there equipment and I resprayed it lol, and make me an offer on the bumper mate? I'll give it a respray for you aswel if you want seen as we've both got blaze's? Make me an offer mate PM?

Most of the body work is done now, car just needs polishing and when my new ph3 bumper turns up, paint and fit that, wheels need doing in gloss black and front badge needs fitting. Few snaps of how it stands at the minute:
