Ph3 Engine in Ph1 - John1.4 - 21-09-2015 as above really, the mechanical side of the new 1.4 is straightforward, old shit out, new shit in, etc... unsure on wiring side though, i have the full engine loom and ecu (3 plug) but havn't got anything else, and i have no idea on how the immob works on these, i have the keypad type, what's the best way to go forward? is there a simple/cheap fix? or does it mean robbing a full wiring loom and doing a massive re-wire job on the whole car? RE: Ph3 Engine in Ph1 - Toms306 - 22-09-2015 You'll need the ECU unlocked tbh, saves any immobiliser hassle! Not sure how much of the clock wiring will still work with a ph1 interior loom though. |
