Snapped subframe - ADV_93 - 24-07-2015 Has anyone ever come across the subframe snapping/becoming separated on the seams? I've heard people welding the seams on the subframes and was going to do it to mine. RE: Snapped subframe - Toms306 - 24-07-2015 It won't separate. It will allow a small amount of movement during cornering though which is why people seam weld them for track etc. RE: Snapped subframe - Nath140889 - 21-09-2015 Part of my front subframe where the front wishbone bush mounts snapped clean in half due to rot on my phase 1 if thats any hood info to you lol RE: Snapped subframe - Eeyore - 21-09-2015 Seam welded subframe is the bomb!
