£200 Budget Bucket Seat - silverzx - 24-07-2015

Want a bucket seat for my S14, don't want to pay £ra*e for scene tax brands like Bride etc.

So far I've found two that fit the budget and look half all right.

Can anyone comment on how wide they are, how they fit in an S14, any reccomendations they might have? I'm 6'1 and about 34" waist (so quite big, certainly not a skinny guy).

Ideally I wanted a recliner so I can still get sucked off and lean right back when I want to chill but it is a drift car so... Sacrifices need to be made.

But being a drift car you'll be making lots of females moist therefore requiring the recliner version so that they may show you how much your sideways abilities impress their downstairs regions

RE: £200 Budget Bucket Seat - Ruan - 24-07-2015

I'd be getting PVC coated one.

Wipe clean baby.

RE: £200 Budget Bucket Seat - silverzx - 24-07-2015

Some drifter just pointed me towards these: http://www.corbeau-seats.com/ClubSport

Look good value!

Mmmmmmm wipe clean PVC sounds like a plan Ru-bear.

RE: £200 Budget Bucket Seat - Eeyore - 24-07-2015

ive got the monaco pros. I paid £200 for a pair which had been used for 4 miles.

RE: £200 Budget Bucket Seat - Dum-Dum - 24-07-2015

For that money you could almost get a pair of Rally Designs seats which were apparently built to FIA spec but never certified due to the cost of it.

Are you seriously 6'1"? Must be your shy, retiring personality making you seem smaller.

Either of those should be good.

RE: £200 Budget Bucket Seat - Stef205 - 25-07-2015

if youve ever sat in a fg framed seat youll never want to sit in a horrible steel framed seat again!

Pay alittle bit more you won't regret it.

RE: £200 Budget Bucket Seat - silverzx - 29-07-2015

OK so now I'm even more confused. Big Grin

RE: £200 Budget Bucket Seat - Stef205 - 29-07-2015

aslong as youve measured your ass and its fibreglass framed you cant go wrong really, Oh and side mounted not base mounted!

RE: £200 Budget Bucket Seat - silverzx - 29-07-2015

Why does it have to be fibreglass and not steel?

RE: £200 Budget Bucket Seat - Matt - 29-07-2015

Steel is uncomfortable as f*ck from memory

RE: £200 Budget Bucket Seat - silverzx - 29-07-2015

So ... I now have 0 options and back to square one.

That is because you have ignored my 1st post you penis

RE: £200 Budget Bucket Seat - PartyJas - 29-07-2015

Nothing wrong with steel frame seats. Sparco sprint and Cobra Monaco are both FIA approved so are more than safe enough. Heavier than a shell seat though but not by massive amounts. Still much lighter than an O/E seat.

Also ignored my post also as that is £135 +VAT for a FG bucket and they are dead comfy and come with side mounts and I'm a similar size to you.
