M11x1.25 or 7/16-20 bolts - Piggy - 18-05-2015

I need some m11x1.25 or actually 7/16-20 UNF bolts.

Any idea of anywhere to get some in the UK pretty quick??

I don't want to use the original seat belt bolts with the spacer shaft on them.

Anyone able to help or know of a company?

7/16x20 definitely, theres a few types of bolt used on the belts, have a rummage in a breakers Big Grin

beware that newer stuff kike the C2 went metric, bugger if I know why they were imperial to start with on a french car, but to change after decades makes it even more baffling lol

balls grinding always makes me snigger

well standard are 8.8.

Thats pretty much what every other bolt is.

I want 10.8 or if possible 12.9

Why do you need higher tensile just out of interest? The standard ones are designed for the job, what are you planning on doing that means you need higher tensile?

If you have seen them, they just arent a suitable design for bolting harnesses and harness bars in.

So if I am getting replacements I might as well see if I can get higher tensile strength bolts. Belt and braces if you please! Smile

i wouldnt be worrying about the bolts id worry about the french tin your bolting it too
bolts will cut through tin like a knife, with a sudden sidways shock loading

yes yes yes. The anchor points for the seatbelts and seats are useless and we should all double plate them immediately before we all die.

We get it.
