RE: Sam's new wheels - puglove - 09-03-2015

Are they like super light weight and strong or somthing?? People get all hypt about them but imo they arnt all that aesthetically pleasing?

RE: Sam's new wheels - WiNgNuTz - 09-03-2015

Look too small IMO, but if you're happy with them, that's all that matters. Wink

Nice tread on the Nankangs though. Big Grin

RE: Sam's new wheels - Eeyore - 09-03-2015

I believe they are super light weight and super strong. These ones I believe are gravel rally spec or something. Reason for the group buy was that a few people wanted the real deal as this is what the touring cars actually used to run?

RE: Sam's new wheels - Grant - 09-03-2015

RE: Sam's new wheels - bashbarnard - 09-03-2015

You're getting a bit eccentric with these Sam. Keep they jokes balanced, we don't want this thread going off track

Cheers guys I know the wheels aren't to everyone's taste but ha ho,I love them.

Yes there make these in magnesium or alloy(mine) and where used for the 306 bttc and gravel rally cars

These where specially made in 7 wide and direct fit.

Keep the puns up gents Smile

I'm pleased to see you can perform under pressure Sam. Last thing we want is your humour getting a bit flat. I suggest you jack it in now.

I am a little concerned we are turning this thread into a bit of a blowout. It's skidded off topic and it will ruin what has so far been a Goodyear.

RE: Sam's new wheels - Kezzieboy - 09-03-2015

Beautiful wheels, they look ruddy lovely!

RE: Sam's new wheels - welshpug - 09-03-2015

not light, they're 8 kilos, the BTCC cars had magnesium 1508's which look the same.

very strong and quite a lot of brake clearance.

Yeah not as light as people think also the nankang weight a fair bit.

They clear a AP caliper and a 406 brembo ok

I just love the motersport look
