I think its an 'oh dear' moment..... - my-first-306 - 27-02-2015 Hi all, Fitted a boost gauge on my D turbo earlier, when I cut the boost compensator pipe it was full of oil, im guessing this is new turbo time? Cheers steve RE: I think its an 'oh dear' moment..... - zx_volcane - 27-02-2015 nah, they can pass a bit of oil for a fair while and not give up the ghost it will have just accumulated there over a period of time RE: I think its an 'oh dear' moment..... - my-first-306 - 27-02-2015 if I said its been running 26psi for a while now would you say the same? I want to fit a better turbo anyway at some point, just don't want it to go pop yet lol RE: I think its an 'oh dear' moment..... - Owen_G_ - 27-02-2015 Most of them are the same, it just seems to be their thing. Mines the same RE: I think its an 'oh dear' moment..... - my-first-306 - 27-02-2015 Oh that's alright then ![]() RE: I think its an 'oh dear' moment..... - WiNgNuTz - 27-02-2015 Yeah, mine was the same, standard when I got it with 104k on the clock. I wouldn't worry about it at all. ![]() RE: I think its an 'oh dear' moment..... - daveylennon93 - 28-02-2015 Could be oil from the breather pipes anywy. every one ive had was the same. RE: I think its an 'oh dear' moment..... - my-first-306 - 28-02-2015 That's alright then hopefully last until I get a new turbo for it ![]() RE: I think its an 'oh dear' moment..... - Ruan - 04-03-2015 It's probably not the turbo, more the oil breather. RE: I think its an 'oh dear' moment..... - Dave - 08-03-2015 Seem to remember Ruan pulling this pipe off my boost gauge in my car, before being covered in oil as I came on boost.
