406 hdi lower pipe - allanallen - 25-01-2015 Hi all! Is everyone that's using the 406 lower pipe happy with the fact it touches the subframe? Just fitted mine up and it there's zero clearance, I'd imagine with standard engine mounts it won't last very long at all, am I missing something?! Cheers, Al RE: 406 hdi lower pipe - allanallen - 25-01-2015 Sorted. Trimmed as much as I dared off the turbo end of the plastic pipe, shortened the original joiner a little and 'relieved' the subframe around the lower engine fork. So much for things being a straight fit! ![]() RE: 406 hdi lower pipe - Alan_M - 25-01-2015 What are you doing with the clutch or are you going to run the limited torque stage 2? RE: 406 hdi lower pipe - allanallen - 25-01-2015 I've put a new Valeo in it after discovering the 'super dooper Sachs berlingo clutch' is the same as a 306 item. I've had more joy with Valeo than Sachs in other cars hence my choice. I think jamma said 150bhp/250lb map, see how it goes.... RE: 406 hdi lower pipe - Poodle - 25-01-2015 Yeah just needs a little trim, i trimmed the edge of the bracket on the subframe too, just enough to give it breathing room. |
