Trye Pressure 195/50/15 - mlloyd2000 - 08-01-2015

Like I'm sure many others have done, I've fitted 195/50/15 tyres on my 306 hdi instead of the correct 195/55/15.

Could anyone tell me the correct pressures for the 50 proflie tyres?

I've got them at 36 psi at the moment, as per the recomended pressures for the car, but it seems a little high, having run the same tyres on a mk3 golf at 32 psi for years.

Ive had a quick search but couldnt find anything, so I'm open to suggestions.

Thanks

I run about 34psi but it can differ depending on sidewall strength in my experience

If it helps,
Im running goodyear eficient grip performance 82V on the front and dunlop sport Blu response 82V on the rear.

Personally, I usually find the Max pressure printed on the tyre, and put a few less psi than that in. Wink I think i used to run about 28-29psi on the DT, but they were 185/65/14's iirc. Smile

I go 30-32 psi all round on the 6

34 is what i'd put in those tyres on a mid-sized hatch. Mine feels better with 32, but then it's stripped out pretty thoroughly.
