My indicators and hazard lights are playing up, i turn the indicator on and they dont work but if i give the dash a tap they will for a bit so is there a way of checking the hazard light switch and the relay before i replace both

mmm Thats an odd one.... its only a few quid to replace so give it a go I reckon. If you hear random ticking from the relay when driving etc it is normally the indicator stalk that needs replacing.

Yeah, i'd be inclined to replace the hazard light switch as well tbh. Do you know anyone else with a 306 that you could borrow a switch from to confirm the issue? Though as Rowell says, they are dirt cheap anyway, so may as well just get yourself a spare!

Ive ordered a hazard light switch off eBay so hopefully that will sort it i dont think the stalk is at fault as the hazards play up on there own
