Would look awesome on those mate good luck finding a set though

RE: Puglove's Diablo 6 S/C project (new wheels p8) - 306GT30 - 26-12-2012

Theyre called BIG LYONS (LIONS)

RE: Puglove's Diablo 6 S/C project (new wheels p8) - ozonehostile - 26-12-2012

and they weigh slightly more than jupiter

RE: Puglove's Diablo 6 S/C project (new wheels p8) - puglove - 26-12-2012

Your all wrong. They are called cyclons streched on photoshop lmao. These wheels dont exsist with the solid center

RE: Puglove's Diablo 6 S/C project (new wheels p8) - samass - 26-12-2012

Yeah I thought it was a 'shop, lions looks way different, and shit. They seem out of proportion, hard to explain, bit don't get them, it'd ruin your car IMO lol

RE: Puglove's Diablo 6 S/C project (new wheels p8) - cwspellowe - 26-12-2012

wtf? 17" cyclones?

*i'd better add, /broken record

They're Wheelmania Lions for the uneducated. They weigh a tonne, they're 17" and they're rare as feck as Peugeot opened legal proceedings against Wheelmania for copying the design, so very few sets are still around. Those that are can go for anything up to £1k these days, a ridiculous price for an average looking wheel made of a very soft alloy that buckles easily.

Imagine paying £1k for a set and ruining one wheel. Good luck replacing that!

Trailer queen wheels and nothing more.

I believe the wheel mania ones were the product of a 306gti6 group buy, 10 sets IIRC? And didnt they pay somthing like £1k per set to have them made aswell, And genuine lions are a diiferent brand, or am i just making all this up? lol

RE: Puglove's Diablo 6 S/C project (new wheels p8) - puglove - 05-02-2013

Weeeellllllll then the gti pulled out a disapointing 158bhp on the rollers :/

If i didnt have the supercharger to go on this right now id be seriously pissed off as the 6 that i sold to buy this one rolled at 170.2BHP and had twice the mileage of this one lmao

RE: Puglove's Diablo 6 S/C project (new wheels p8) - Scott - 05-02-2013

It's a shame it didn't pull so well, though I guess it's a good incentive to get the charger on it Wink

RE: Puglove's Diablo 6 S/C project (new wheels p8) - puglove - 05-02-2013

Just because

RE: Puglove's Diablo 6 S/C project (new wheels p8) - Arron - 05-02-2013

RE: Puglove's Diablo 6 S/C project (new wheels p8) - Niall - 05-02-2013

too low, wrong colour and wrong phase

Seriously though, i wouldnt worry about the power. That dyno was a crock of shit!

RE: Puglove's Diablo 6 S/C project (new wheels p8) - sam - 05-02-2013

Agreed with niall on the dyno was shocking but everything else hes wrong, right phase and right colour Tongue

RE: Puglove's Diablo 6 S/C project (new wheels p8) - devils_fuel - 06-02-2013

What you mean Wheelmania Lions?

Not a fan tbh...

RE: Puglove's Diablo 6 S/C project (new wheels p8) - Scott - 06-02-2013

Never mind the fact that they're never available for a reasonable price. I think the cheapest set I've seen for sale is £800 but that was with no tyres and they were curbed!

[Image: irmscher-peugeot-4007-rc-line-titel.jpg]

think hes on about these.

RE: Puglove's Diablo 6 S/C project (new wheels p8) - Scott - 06-02-2013

Rinjanis? They're much better.

Still quite difficult to find a set for a good price though.

RE: Puglove's Diablo 6 S/C project (new wheels p8) - puglove - 06-02-2013

as niall said think he's talking about the Rinjanis/savarners/irumersure ones, well its the ones im talking about anyway

Those wheelmainia one's are over priced to fook and made of cheese, id have a set if they were sub £350

RE: Puglove's Diablo 6 S/C project (new wheels p8) - puglove - 08-06-2013

ITS ALIVE ................ well for the whole of 5 mins anyway lmao

So I cleaned the garage out today, so I pulled the gti out and let her run for 15mins

Then when I pulled it back in I found this

Turns out it has a decent sized hole in the Rad which seems to have appeared whilst its been in storage Sad

RE: Puglove's Diablo 6 S/C project (new wheels p8) - Niall - 08-06-2013

Sure there is a hole and it hasnt just come out of the overflow on the top of the expansion tank? Mine does this occasionally due to a faulty rad which actually seals the cap too well so wont release pressure (much to peoples amusement at ace!)

Hope you have been starting it and moving it a bit every few weeks!

RE: Puglove's Diablo 6 S/C project (new wheels p8) - puglove - 08-06-2013

No it has a hole on the back side to right at the bottom, but I have a nice new nissens rad stashed away for it anyway,
and no I haven't prob the 1st time in 2months now,

RE: Puglove's Diablo 6 S/C project (new wheels p8) - Niall - 08-06-2013

Get up there every 2 weeks or so and just start it and drive it out into that forecourt a few times. Cars standing for long periods destroys them!

RE: Puglove's Diablo 6 S/C project (new wheels p8) - puglove - 08-06-2013

Hey it stood for 7 years lol, couple months wont hurt,

It should be alright from now on as I will be moving her up to my house in the next week or two, will see abit more use now, and will prob need pulling in & out the garage evey 10 mins lol

RE: Puglove's Diablo 6 S/C project (new wheels p8) - Niall - 08-06-2013

Cool. So is it going to be back on the road now or are you still failing at fitting that charger?

RE: Puglove's Diablo 6 S/C project (new wheels p8) - Ed Doe - 08-06-2013

SHIT the bed! I still don't reckon he actually owns this anymore... googled some photos of a Diablo 6 leaking coolant.... it's not like its unheard of... Tongue

Yeah want it ready for pugfest. but....... yes im failing big time with the S/C im about 4 months and £2000 behind where i planned to be this year, i wont bore you with the details but its basically down to the whole DT bonnet incident. so just gotta accept it aint gonna get done untill this winter/ early next year now.
