Sure it will be. They are a pretty strong engine in all fairness unless you use them like a water pump like a certain Rallye owner Wink

Suppose i should up date this really, people on Facebook know but for those who dont

Little strip down

Then some little additions

Also got me some OEM looking gauges

Then mocked up the cooler , oil coolers pipe work, etc, made some templates for brackets

Got all the brackets, pipe work , all made up welded & painted now, Just waiting on a few parts to turn up then i can final fit every thing

You routing the intercooler piping through your washer bottle?

:p

RE: Puglove's Diablo 6, cage fitted & headliner - puglove - 13-12-2013

yeah 2 1/4" core bit , slide the pipe through then silicone around the pipe ThumbsUp

RE: Puglove's Diablo 6, cage fitted & headliner - Dum-Dum - 13-12-2013

Why 2 oil temp gauges and also isn't your boost gauge a tad optimistic?

RE: Puglove's Diablo 6, cage fitted & headliner - puglove - 13-12-2013

One for charger oil temp & one for engine oil, & yes the boost gauge is very optimistic but it was the least chavtastic one i could find

Glad I'm not the only one who actually thought through the practicality of doing so lol

Ooh i like that boost gauge. Where did you get it and how much?
Im not sure if I'm going to take my drivers side boost pipe over the top of the IC and in through the passengers side of the rad or if I'm going to do the same as you. Are you cutting the hole for the bottle filler neck bigger to take a pipe through there?

RE: Puglove's Diablo 6, cage fitted & headliner - puglove - 13-12-2013

It is from the mighty ebay, cant remember how much it was ?

No the IC pipe loops back behind the lower slam panel , It does a full 180* loop off the end of the IC if you get me, obviously that pipe you see in the pic was cut right down.

RE: Puglove's Diablo 6, cage fitted & headliner - Niall - 13-12-2013

Ah ok and spins around where the AC pump used to be? Never thought of going that way. Giggidy.

RE: Puglove's Diablo 6, cage fitted & headliner - puglove - 13-12-2013

Yes correct, but my PAS is there now so it needs to drop abit lower, its not ideal but i think it will be fine, it was the best way i could see doing it without chopping the chassis. All i had to do was just extend the washer bottle mounts 40-50mm to allow the pipe through

Yeah but being a older Lynx kit, not very well Wink

RE: Puglove's Diablo 6, Blown!! - puglove - 30-12-2013

Yeah its pretty much there. I need to put some fluids back in tighten a few bits and it will run.

A niall its the V2 not the V1 with the revised map

Ah good good. Looking at the manifold, its an early one and I've heard the early maps had a lot of issues.

RE: Puglove's Diablo 6, Blown!! - ozonehostile - 30-12-2013

*blown * is a very misleading title :-P

I was expecting to see fire and engines with holes in haha

RE: Puglove's Diablo 6, Blown!! - puglove - 30-12-2013

Yeah I had read that the V1 had problems so when I was talking to rich he said he would be sending all the gear to aviod the issues with the same earlier kits.so should be no issues with this

RE: Puglove's Diablo 6, Blown!! - Poodle - 31-12-2013

This won't be mapped i doubt. Its still running a standard ECU with the generic low boost map.

RE: Puglove's Diablo 6, actualy supercharged - puglove - 30-01-2014

But it will be mapped eventually niall Wink

RE: Puglove's Diablo 6, actualy supercharged - Niall - 30-01-2014

Good man. Will you be going aftermarket or sticking with the standard ECU?

RE: Puglove's Diablo 6, actualy supercharged - puglove - 30-01-2014

Pppfftt i OE ecu will be going in the bin, along with the inlet manni, and the TB will be changing location........ but were talking off season end of this year
