plastidip cardip uk - impotentials - 10-12-2014 Anybody used this. It's a new plastidip. can respray a 306 for less than £100 and they can colour match any car code you like. met the guy at modified live this year and there demo audi looked lush. they even do clear coats and tinted clears. so has anybody given it a go? cheers Cardip uk. based in Manchester RE: plastidip cardip uk - cully - 10-12-2014 are you the sales rep? if so any free samples ![]() RE: plastidip cardip uk - Eeyore - 10-12-2014 Unless you use a shit load I cant see it blending well. Itll just be patchy. Does this still peel off like plastidip? RE: plastidip cardip uk - John1.4 - 11-12-2014 i use frosts liquid wrap, it's a little thinner than plastidip, and i can imagine it would have to be a LOT thicker than plastidip in one layer to be able to do a full car for £100, and still retain the ability to peel very well, as it is if i want to remove mine i'm going to have to buy some black and beef up the coat so it'll peel properly, especially on the roof where it's only 1 layer thick RE: plastidip cardip uk - impotentials - 11-12-2014 Sorry not a rep so no freebies. They say use 6 coats to allow it to peel. haven't actually used it yet, seeing if anyone else has. guess not... |
