Yeah that does sound dodgy actually.
Nice car though.
If you dug into history and did an HPI check etc.it might make a great track slag or something.
Or a light, awesome shell for SRowell's 1.8

I've bought and sold plenty of cars with just the green slip. What's more dodgy is that it's in Birmingham.

I reckon that's a good price for a clean Ph1 'sport' shell regardless of engine.
Plus I can't remember the last time I saw a Ph1 XSi for sale

Whilst you are right to be cautious, its not always a sign of a bad sale.
My current car didn't have the full log book. One swift call to the DVLA and a HPI check later, everything checked out and was fine
