re triming car carpet and roof? - Lwilliams - 01-12-2014

Has anyone done this before?

I'm looking at doing this to the rallye with some nice black carpet...

Any tips or ideas where to get the carpet from?

I want to do the door and rear panels with cloud 9 stuff so should I do under the carpet also?

How does it stay down? I'm worried about doing it then it lifts up everywhere.

My plan would be to take the out one out and use it as a template

I put underlay in the doorcards and under carpet. I bought 7mm for doorcards just to be safe.

Used a bit of spray glue under the carpet/rear bench but once you fit the carpet back it's pretty snug anyway. The boot made the biggest difference in terms of lowering road noise. I also put some behind the rear seat backrests as well
