This is what a spare key is for lol........

Btw, not sure if '05 ibizas have the same vag setup as the golf.........but mine started locking itself and was a faulty door lock module......

Re: URGENT: Help - Locked keys in car - 2005 Seat Ibiza - sweeney1987 - 15-05-2012

all vags do it seemingly according to the mechanic, have a timer if door is opened and closed without locking.

Although i know there is a loose connection in the door lock module, came up when i plugged it in to my netbook.
Just havet had the time to fix it for her yet

Transits we had at royal fail done that lol
Awkward when you got out and left the engine running and were out for longer than expected haha

My gritter does it... But awkward when it's -3 and your about to go out, but shut the door a tad hard and it's sets the central locking off lol

First post and you want help braking into cars? Dodgy

Anyone else coming into mechanics who leaves the keys in the ignition: leave a window open too. lol

But seriously, nothing wrong with leaving the keys in the ignition imo, often makes life easier, i never lose the keys any more for one lol. Just make sure you've got a window open, do it as soon as you pull up to your workspace, then it doesn't get forgotten.
