Cab axle spec? - MCH - 15-11-2014 Does anyone know the spec of the cab rear axles in comparison to a GTi6 one? Looking for a replacement for one of mine and can get one off a cab but I'm unsure of arb & torsion bar specs in comparison to the GTi6's RE: Cab axle spec? - Piggy - 15-11-2014 Smaller. 19mm TBs and a 18mm ARB iirc RE: Cab axle spec? - Toms306 - 15-11-2014 Yep, TBs are just standard 19mm. No idea about the ARB. RE: Cab axle spec? - Piggy - 15-11-2014 18mm or 19mm I cant remember but it was small! RE: Cab axle spec? - MCH - 15-11-2014 ok thanks, will hold out for a HDI estate or xsara vts one if possible then RE: Cab axle spec? - jamierichkelly@gmail.com - 22-11-2014 18mm arb, that is small. I thought the cab would have larger due to the extra weight RE: Cab axle spec? - welshpug - 22-11-2014 hasnt got the shell stiffness to make use of a larger one! RE: Cab axle spec? - MCH - 30-11-2014 was after another axle as the gti6 I'm driving at the min is extremely low (I didn't lower it) and when I tried to pull the axle apart not even the arb would come out which I've never had before... I was going to source another axle and was offered a cab one but not too fussed now as I'm not keeping the car and it doesn't seem to scrub or catch on general driving. |
