Rooting a galaxy s5 - Paul_13 - 15-11-2014 Has any body had any experience with rooting phones? More specifically a galaxy s5 There's website on the internet which has the software, just a bit reluctant to go ahead with it RE: Rooting a galaxy s5 - Uberderv - 15-11-2014 Only ever done it on an S3. It is quite simple to do, I think I followed the instructions on xda-developers.com. Just make sure you save everything before starting/updating etc.... RE: Rooting a galaxy s5 - Paul_13 - 15-11-2014 I think I'm going to give it a go later on today RE: Rooting a galaxy s5 - Daniel306 - 15-11-2014 I used towilroot last time, really easy. but the last update i got remove the root and stoped towilroot from working, https://towelroot.com/ http://www.skipsoft.net/ Thats what i use now RE: Rooting a galaxy s5 - Uberderv - 15-11-2014 My phone was alot better afterwards and the battery lasted longer too.
