Not seen those wheels before, fair play. Has that been resprayed at some point, or was the finish that bad from the factory over there? I think jenkosowls did a guide on how to clean some of that up with wet sanding, if you're interested.

RE: Pug 306 Ph1 DI - PT - welshpug - 27-10-2014

its had paint, even the badges O_o

RE: Pug 306 Ph1 DI - PT - Piggy - 27-10-2014

Yeah thas been painted for sure. And we call that orange peel here too!! As said though, wet sanding will reduce it dramatically.
Looks smart though ThumbsUp

RE: Pug 306 Ph1 DI - PT - Ricardo 32 - 27-10-2014

Yeah, my painter is s**t.
But now the paint is different. I washed the car with a broom everytime and i've got some risks.
Now, i'm saving some money to do a complete paint.
I think i will do a polish treatment.

I will took some pics to show you guys. I must enjoy this 26º C eheheh

RE: Pug 306 Ph1 DI - PT - Ricardo 32 - 02-11-2014

New pictures after washing
It was full of dust because of the sun and the black is the color that sees more dirt
Still some progress to do.

Wet sanding and polish can work miracles on orange peel.

Yes, i've bought polish and then i will aply wax.

I will study deeply if i can use sandpaper with no problem Blush

RE: Pug 306 Ph1 DI - PT - Jiffy - 03-11-2014

I mean polishing with a rotary or DA polisher. I wouldn't recommend trying it without some training/experience. Here's a good example of the results:

RE: Pug 306 Ph1 DI - PT - Ricardo 32 - 03-11-2014

Thank you for the link Big Grin

A friend of mine will lend me a low rotation drill to the polishing. But i dont know if I do in home or if i take to a pro house.

RE: Pug 306 Ph1 DI - PT - af1 - 06-11-2014

You wouldn't go far wrong with a dturbo front bumper on that!

Yeah should fit straight on. All spline sizes are the same. Obviously the air bag in the middle of the steering wheel wont be connected to anything

RE: Pug 306 Ph1 DI - PT - Owen_G_ - 10-11-2014

I dont wanna cut the atual springs.
I think 306 XS springs are a few mm low. Also dont know if 205 springs are plug and play on 306.
I'm still a student so my budget are not so high. I keep doing small things to improve the beauty Big Grin
