Air Con Spring Lock not holding - help!! - MisterGTR - 19-10-2014
Needing a bit of help again!
The spring lock on the air con pipes to the left of the engine under the fuel pipes won't hold. I've pushed them together as hard a i can. I used a screw driver to lever the pipe in (and did the usual taking chunks of skin when it slips) as hard as i can and still it won't seat.
What i was thinking was either the spring lock is broken in the male part or i'm doing something wrong.
I seem to now remember a white plastic disc from 2 months ago when i started this on that pipe and would that have been the spring clip from inside the male end? Or was that just a cover to stop dirt getting in (that's what i thought it was at the time i took it off)
One option i'm thinking about is finding something to hold the pipes together from the outside.
Anyone got any ideas>?! (not including fire
