DIESEL PUMP SWAP? - NOSE - 10-10-2014

Hi guys, have seen quite a few posts regarding this, but none to tell me what the difference is. Is the LUCAS unit pants and the BOSCH one the one to have or is it the other way around? I don't have a diesel, i'm just curious as to why you guys swap them.

cheers.

Bosch injects at higher pressure, is tolerant to veg/oils as fuels, has a better boost/fuel control mechanism, can swap internals out of other pumps into it etc etc.

Bosch is better.

Bosch injectors have higher break pressures, and are a little more resilliant, also, to turning up the fuel

bosch can also be screwed much more easily (the max fuel injection duration screw is on the outside of hte bosch, whereas its on the cam in the lucas meaning you have to drain the pump every time)
