Removing window tint residue - ginge191 - 21-09-2014

Anyone suggest anything?

Tried white spirit and paint thinner; nope.

Going to try some oven degreasers lol

As said nail varniah remover or auto glym do a tar and glue remover also works a treat

A good tar and glue remover is best and a blade usually, cheap tint seems to leave more residue behind.

So for when this gets archived, for future use; nail polish remover works best. With a lot of elbow grease working small areas at a time.

Brake cleaner and a stanley blade. Spray and let soak, then zip off with blade

much easier to just go to a breakers and get new windows.

I use autoglym stuff for residue, works a treat. Always a bottle in my tool bag

I am surprised that white spirit didnt do the job. Works fine at getting the B pillar vinyl residue off!
