Glow Plugs - pugtk - 02-09-2014 Is there any any difference between a non branded set and a branded set like ngk or bosch glow plugs? RE: Glow Plugs - bashbarnard - 02-09-2014 The length of time they last is the majour factor. Theyre an arse to change so go bosch imo. Ive always found there good. RE: Glow Plugs - Frosty - 02-09-2014 Its defo worth speeding the extra money on a decent set of glow plugs. I've taken some out in the pass without the ends on them anymore Glow Plugs - rocker8742 - 02-09-2014 Quality I'd imagine RE: Glow Plugs - zx_volcane - 02-09-2014 cheap ones don't last as long - especially when running veg used to run the cheapest, but soon got bored of changing them I'd go with Bosch Duraterm or BERU - but they aren't cheap RE: Glow Plugs - rryan - 02-09-2014 i had a set of halfords own brand ones fail on me very quickly in the winter. I would buy branded ones, especially if you are planning to run veg oil. I had bosch ones that lasted two years, i sold the car to my brother he used it for two years with out any problems. RE: Glow Plugs - ConorTRG - 02-09-2014 We use bosch, ngk and beru, always good quality RE: Glow Plugs - mr_fish - 03-09-2014 Stick to the named brands as mentioned. I tend to see it as NGK will heat up quicker (potentially die quicker) but bosch takes a second or 2, more but seem to last. No comment on Beru, never had them |
