My uncle has asked me to convert and edit some wedding videos he has taken so he can use them on his tv.
He says they need converting from avi to jpeg (maybe other way round).
He also says he'd like the videos to be brightened up a little bit.
Can anyone give me some advice on what programmes are best to use for each. Dont want anything thats too complicated as its not something ive majorly played around with before.

I thought JPEG was pictures? Is he wanting to put a bunch into a video or? I've always used sony Vegas for video editing, you can get a free trial from Sony website

.avi is a divx video file, .jpg is an image file. Unless you want pics, I don't think you will be able to.

It was yesterday when he asked me. I probably heard wrong or something. I did think jpeg was pictures to, but will speak to him more when he sends me all the footage. :-)

Cheers will give this a go. How much can I use the trial?
He said he has about 8gb worth of videos he wants brightening up and converting.

Pretty sure it's a 30 day trial but you can use everything, you could always get a key crack programme for it or torrent it if you can still do that these days haha? Used to do it years ago
E: seems they're upto Vegas 13 now haha! I used Vegas 8 a lot so it might've changed but it was really simple to use
