Stuttering Engine - p306hot - 27-07-2014

Hey,

So the issue is that from time to time on diagnostics board lights up -K and the engine seems to cut off and start again, stutter. While giving more revs the diagnostic light seems to go off and come back again at some point.
Sometimes the stuttering is constant.
I have recently replaces the exhaust which was getting clogged and causing this strutter. It helped for few weeks, but its back again...
Any ideas what could cause this issue?

Engine is 1.6

Did you change the Lambda sensor with exhaust?

RE: Stuttering Engine - p306hot - 28-07-2014

No, have not changed Lambda sensor.

When you say it's stuttering does it feel like it's misfiring?

RE: Stuttering Engine - John1.4 - 30-07-2014

is it on acceleration or at any point in the revs? idle / cruising etc

mine misfires under load when it's cold, think it's the MAP (definately a sensor fault if it's like mine...lol)

check all the rubber hoses (vacuum lines) on your inlet, feel for any worn areas and replace them if they're knackered
