I've got a soft-unlocked GTi-6 ECU here that's known good and tested.
Being soft unlocked you won't be able to use it on a 306 with all the immobiliser related gubbins still connected otherwise it'll likely re-lock, but it's perfect for 205/309 conversions etc and is what I'm running on my own 205.
