HPI checks - Ben - 19-06-2014 Are any HPI checks better than others? There's 'my car check' advertised for 2.95 and then an RAC one for 15.50, and then some more expensive than those.. Does anyone know if you can still get insurance with any HPI checks? Any advice apprieciated RE: HPI checks - Niall - 19-06-2014 Ive always used my car check. Think the Silver one. There are some which will give all sorts of info (the £15 ones) but the £2.95 ones are good for all the basics. Stolen, CAT C/D, colour change, reg change, finance etc. RE: HPI checks - Toms306 - 19-06-2014 As above, the more you pay, the more info you get. But the basics are all you need tbh. As for insurance, it depends what the problem is, something like a previous cat D or late change isn't an issue. RE: HPI checks - toseland - 19-06-2014 if you can get a code, go to HPI, get 3 if you are lookin for a few cars, always nice and solid for them. RE: HPI checks - Ben - 20-06-2014 Cheers guys I'll go for the my car check then. Tom I didn't explain the insurance bit very well. I meant are there any HPI checks that still offer 7 days insurance for free? RE: HPI checks - r3k1355 - 20-06-2014 Yea the one offered by HPI includes 7 days insurance on that car IIRC RE: HPI checks - toseland - 20-06-2014 HPI also guarantee the check.. if you supply all of the stuff they require (VIN/V5 ref/reg etc) before you purchase the car, they will guarantee the full purchase price if something nasty is on it that they dont know about (Stolen, Cat A/B etc) |
