De-Fogged - Nathan1305 - 19-06-2014 Just took my fog lights out as they don't work anyway, think it looks a lot better still want a Ph3 bumper though [attachment=16962] [attachment=16963] [attachment=16964] RE: De-Fogged - Orta - 19-06-2014 What is the difference between phase 2 and 3 bumper? RE: De-Fogged - Jimbo - 19-06-2014 This is ph3 (with rallye blanks) RE: De-Fogged - Nathan1305 - 19-06-2014 (19-06-2014, 05:04 PM)Jimbo Wrote: This is ph3 (with rallye blanks) That's what I want, phase 3 bumper with rallye blanks. Looks so much better! Re: De-Fogged - kentiiboii - 19-06-2014 You can get covers for phase2. Yeah I've seen them I still want a phase 3 bumper though RE: De-Fogged - Orta - 20-06-2014 Ah I see, the phase 3 bumper has circley fogs, compared to the phase 2. My phase 2 '6 has circley fogs though? RE: De-Fogged - Matt - 21-06-2014 It's because the '6 has a ph2 gti bumper was a upgrade at the time. Which is now known as a ph3 bumper to most people due to peugeot using it (and the rest of the gti kit, bumpers skirts etc) on the later models RE: De-Fogged - Toms306 - 22-06-2014 It's like Peugeot designed the phase 3, then deliberately made it worse for a couple of years so they could facelift it later on lol... Must be a bit annoying for ph3 '6 owners though, debadge it and people think you drive a HDi. RE: De-Fogged - Toms306 - 22-06-2014 Nope, phase 3 GTi 6 bumper is exactly the same as a phase 3 1.4 LX! The only difference is the 'L' spec non turbo diesel, they just used old phase 2 bumpers that had been hanging around in the factory for those lol. Oh haha just got my phase 3 bumper crystal lights and side skirts for £30! so happy about that. How do I know if I have a twin optic stalk? It's a 1999 phase 2 so a late one with some phase 3 parts on it like boot lid and clear side repeaters. So will I have a twin optic stalk? I've heard some later phase 2s had them RE: De-Fogged - Mark - 23-06-2014 (22-06-2014, 10:15 AM)Nathan1305 Wrote: How do I know if I have a twin optic stalk? The way to tell is if your dipped beam stays on when you put main beams on. I had a standard, badgeless ph.2 '6 and people kept saying it was diesel until I either told them it wasn't or I put my foot down and surprised them. A petrol station employee said I should get loads of miles from my full tank what with it being a 1.4 once |
