Boss kit. - kentiiboii - 21-05-2014

Just wondering if there is a difference between a phase 1 boss kit and a phase 2/3 boss kit?

RE: Boss kit. - Janne L - 22-05-2014

They are different :-)
Ph1 has a nut securing the wheel/hub, ph2/3 uses a bolt. So the steering column is different.

Re: Boss kit. - kentiiboii - 22-05-2014

Shit got a feeling my boss is from a phase 1.

Ph1 wheels fit ph2/3 don't see why the boss wouldn't be the same could be wrong like lol

Surely the boss will just have a splined hole? So you could sit it on the splines and put a bolt down through, or it would go over the threaded part and you could put a nut on it? So it should fit either??

That's what I'm kind of thinking to tom.

Bosses are different if you using an aftermarket wheel.

Sure you remember my small aftermarket wheel on the 5 door. Well I had to by a different boss as it would not fit the phase 2 3 door model.

Well I'm using grants old omp copy. What's different about the boss? I looked on eBay for a difference but they have same part numbers.
