Fitting turbo - pbell283 - 21-05-2014 Ok so i fitted my turbo now it sounds bit like a police siroen with no boost but the reek is pure black not a bit of white could it be a boost leak ? RE: Fitting turbo - toseland - 21-05-2014 sounds like it.. all gaskets new on the inlet/pipes? it would have to be a pretty hefty boost leak break out the soapy water and give all the pipe joints a spray, rev the engine gently, if yous ee bubbles you have a leak.. i would suspect that something is open completely or left off somewhere however Fitting turbo - pbell283 - 21-05-2014 Didnt change any gaskets RE: Fitting turbo - Danny2009 - 21-05-2014 Lol Have you got a boost gauge to see what it's boosting? Is there any play in turbo? Let's hope inlet/exhaust gasket isn't leaking or you will have to take turbo off again Fitting turbo - pbell283 - 21-05-2014 No play in turbo and hope not like and boosting 0 psi RE: Fitting turbo - Danny2009 - 21-05-2014 If there is 0 psi something's not right even a blowing gasket still should register some boost made sure the boost gauge pipe is on properly or if it's split Fitting turbo - pbell283 - 21-05-2014 Tryed everything think needs another turbo RE: Fitting turbo - Seb_Ryan - 21-05-2014 Have you connected the pipes properly?
