Anti roll bar bushes ARB - Welshy_Pete - 10-04-2014

I was wandering what symptoms do you get with anti roll bar bushes ARB.

I have changed the P bushes and drop links things are much better now. But the anti roll bar had to be moved over a bit to stop it catching. It's a bit better but still needs moving over a bit more. So will the anti roll bar bushes make any difference?

Is there anything that stops the anti roll bar moving to one side to much? I will a just again more but just want to know if things can still move?

I have 19mm ones for the 306 hdi.

Thanks

The bushes had a tab if you like and there is sort of notch of sorts on the ARB to stop it moving side to side...

So the bushes may well be worn

The bushes are not to bad to change. It's getting the anti roll bar straight so being on a ramp makes it easier to see underneath.

I have never had issues with getting the bar straight!!?

The bushes locate themselves in the arb, so you cant get it wrong!
Can be a bit fiddly though...easy to remove, with little tiny bit of lube, easy to slide into place, tricky bit is putting tension on the bush clamp while bolting it on

It's a bit of an ass ache.

They don't seem to close around the bar all that well which can make it difficult getting the clamp over and lining up the bolts.

Not the worst job in the world though.
