Oil catch can? - MIKE-FORD - 06-04-2014 Just been given one, any good for a hdi? RE: Oil catch can? - madmadmax - 06-04-2014 if its got 25mm ports on it then yes if not then no RE: Oil catch can? - Piggy - 06-04-2014 Bit pointless unless you are going for other upgrades. Port size is a bit irrelevant tbh, just buy adapters/squeeze pipe on RE: Oil catch can? - MIKE-FORD - 06-04-2014 It's free so and dunno what port size is RE: Oil catch can? - underground375 - 06-04-2014 [attachment=15068] Fitted mine to the side of the battery casing in the old Xs I had. Anyone with a HDI fitted one? Can't really find a suitable place really. RE: Oil catch can? - ash23 - 09-04-2014 ive just made one with big ports for my xud nice and cheap bodge xud style ![]() RE: Oil catch can? - dr_jekyll - 13-04-2014 Ive got a catch tank im about to fit, steps down from 25mm to 15mm and ran fine on my old car. Used it when i deleted the oil breather from the inlet to keep things clean. Worst case scenario is you'll blow your dipstick out but if you do that your engines heavily breathing P.s im hdi |
