Loose Dash - mattgreene - 06-04-2014

Does anyone have a what seems a loose dash, it vibrates about 80mph and its really annoying, anyone help me?

Re: Loose Dash - WiNgNuTz - 06-04-2014

Mine rattles quite well, not sure if it's actually the dash or just all the crap I have in the glove box. lol

Having lowered the car 60mm doesn't seem to have helped either. Wink

Yes, all 306s have a loose dash!

All of mine have been rattly anyway lol. Its often even worse after a windscreen change!

It's not actually loose though, it's just that Peugeot like to butt plastic against plastic without anything between. Look at something better (like a mk4 golf for example Wink ) and you'll see they felt line a lot of the interior panels to stop the noise. Smile

Tighten it up then Tongue

RE: Loose Dash - mattgreene - 06-04-2014

I was wondering if its a simple as tightening up, is it gonna be best to put some material between the dash and the bulk head to see it that stops it?

Fit baker BM engine mounts Wink does the trick Tongue

Am i missing something?!

RE: Loose Dash - Toms306 - 06-04-2014

Fit solid mounts and the whole car will shake itself apart so you'll no longer be bothered by the dash lol. Wink
