Aldi Metal Paint - ally406 - 06-04-2014
I had read about this stuff, the guys on the classic car restoration forums rave about it, and lots of good feedback elsewhere. Some say even better than Hammerite:

It's back in Aldi for a short while as of today. 1L for £4.99, the equivalent Hammerite is about £20. I'll be using it paint up my trailer, the underside of a chassis and an engine bay. Get stocked up as they move fast!

i found hammerite to be piss poor! as i painted the metros sills and front frame, you wouldn't even think i had even touched it! so i am looking at other stuff now.
