Has anyone tried this? - Razorback_Rob - 02-04-2014 http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/280783004816 just curious. Anyone tried this? Drink holder included. Apparently fits on top of current centre console. RE: Has anyone tried this? - Matt-Rallye - 02-04-2014 Universal fitting with 4 bolts... sounds like you may have too adapt it a fair bit too fit. Unfortunately cant imagine it fitting with the original handbrake etc ![]() Re: RE: Has anyone tried this? - kentiiboii - 02-04-2014 (02-04-2014, 03:37 PM)Matt-Rallye Wrote: Universal fitting with 4 bolts... sounds like you may have too adapt it a fair bit too fit. Everyone's going on about cup holders but tbh, I don't eat or drink in my car so I really don't miss them :-) RE: Has anyone tried this? - Matt - 02-04-2014 Fair few have used them. IMO do what me and curt have done in the past and fabricate some if your own ![]() ![]() RE: Has anyone tried this? - Matt-Rallye - 02-04-2014 (02-04-2014, 03:46 PM)Matt Wrote: Fair few have used them. Unless its mine... then its allowed. Back in uni I was constantly finding crisp packets under all the seats and once on a trip to newcastle this girl and about 20 cans rolled out across the road! RE: Has anyone tried this? - Matt - 02-04-2014 yup custom work yoooooo modified centre vents to hold twin cup holder. was siiiiccck edit: http://306oc.co.uk/forum/thread-15072.html Has anyone tried this? - Razorback_Rob - 03-04-2014 Looked like it wouldn't really fit :L just was curious. Looked like a generic eBay item with every car model under the sun advertised for it. Seen a few home mods. Might just modify the hole in the centre console make it large enough to hold 1 bottle/can ;L RE: Has anyone tried this? - Piggy - 03-04-2014 (02-04-2014, 08:02 PM)Matt Wrote: yup custom work yoooooo Till it spills over your stereo and gearstick and makes everything sticky RE: Has anyone tried this? - Curt - 03-04-2014 I don't know why everyone feels the need to say this... Got the same comments when I made mine 5 years ago: http://www.theywhoshallnotbenamed/forum/threads/75666-Did-Someone-Mention-Cup-holders If you look at other cars, a lot of them have the cup holder above the stereo. Might not go so well :'( RE: Has anyone tried this? - willJspears - 03-04-2014 if any of you are familiar with the cupholders in a mk4 golf, im sure you could get them to fit somewhere in the dash. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/OE-Black-Front-Dash-Folding-Stretch-Cup-Holder-For-VW-Jetta-Bora-Golf-4-MK4-MKIV-/221339676898?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Plat_Gen%3AMK+IV%7CModel%3AGolf&hash=item3388df70e2 RE: Has anyone tried this? - Grant - 03-04-2014 Check out Niall's project thread.
