rallye pulley bearing - Niall - 31-03-2014 Evening all Ive now bought two rallye setups and both have had buggered pullies so not much use! I ended up buying a new tensioner pulley as they were on sale and only cost me £27 however now my idler pulley (the better of the two anyway!) has suddenly started rattling away and wobbling slightly so need to get it sorted pretty much asap before it shred a belt. The cheapest I've found is Here. Does anyone else know of somewhere cheaper or alternatively, the correct bearing i need so i can replace the bearing in the one i currently have? Cheers Re: rallye pulley bearing - kentiiboii - 31-03-2014 Nial do you have part number for the tensioner, also part number for the belt? I was going to buy dumdums from him, but in all fairness everything else on the '6 is new now so id rather put new rallye setup on. RE: rallye pulley bearing - powerandtorque - 01-04-2014 Here is slightly cheaper Niall and is the same one that I've got on my '6 engine The "Rallye" setup doesn't seem to wear miles well and most used ones seem to be goosed frankly. RE: rallye pulley bearing - Niall - 01-04-2014 Well thanks to Paul_13, i have now purchased a Gates one for £25 ![]() If you go to Rockauto.com and search for the gates part number, T36036 you will find it. Apparently there is only 1 left! |
