Replacement or repairable? - SteveMcs - 26-03-2014 Well, i worked out why my central locking doesn't work... Look like i can repair it? or is it too far gone? Replacement or repairable? - bashbarnard - 26-03-2014 Anythings repairable grab a soldering iron some wire and some heat shrink. Job done. Ive done two now. My Phase one had four broken white wires in and i had to trace them though RE: Replacement or repairable? - cully - 26-03-2014 everything is repairable to an extent alot depends on how much cable you have at the plug, cause some of the wires may have broken too flush, not leaving enough to solder to that dont look too bad not many wires next time try a ph3 it has 21 wires ive replaced loom ends and have repaired existing so it is posible RE: Replacement or repairable? - SteveMcs - 26-03-2014 i'm gonna get the leccy box out and give it a go repairing. Is there anyway of protecting it a bit more? the little gaiter that should be around it was half missing and the rest was wrapped in electrical tape (Not seperated at all so i'm expecting a couple of replacement fuses aswell) I'm also guessing the other side isn't going to be much better than this because thew speaker on that side doesn't work =/ |
