WIW: Ph3 5dr Astor HDi - amiek - 25-03-2014

99 plate 5 door Astor HDI dturbo spec, 12 months tax (£225 eurgh), 6 months mot. 139k miles (i think), service in 6.5k miles

Completely standard car, bar the purple calliper paint.

New aux belt fitted less than 1000 miles ago
Had new discs and pads all round at last service.

Bad points:
needs 2/3 new tyres
rear beam knocks
small dent where 306 hdi badges are on rear
dent on drivers door at top, has been touched up with pen (better but not great)
central locking motor on drivers door doesn't work
fuel leak at elbow (new part just not fitted correctly...)
general car park dents and scratches on body work
cyclones need refurb

fuel leak and tyres will be sorted soon.

Just curious, spent too long looking at white corsas this afternoon Sad

I sold 1 pretty similar to this earlier in the year but was a 2001 so lower tax and think it was about 129k i think and i got £1200 for it which i thought was pretty good tbh. Was more than i was expecting but it was a pretty tidy example.

With the tyres and fuel leak sorted i would say somewhere around the £800 mark

Yeh around £800. There arent too many of them and its a HDi after all.

Where about on South coast are u?

RE: WIW: Ph3 5dr Astor HDi - ginge191 - 26-03-2014

I'd say it's worth putting up for £1100 given te decent T&T on it, the issues aren't major, its Dturbo/gti spec and be prepared to have a small knock down on price. It's a very tidy motor Smile

Just out of interest how much would mine be worth then, 5 door dturbo hdi in mint condition no problems 12 months mot and 5 tax with a stage 1 map, full dealer service history on 70k ?

RE: WIW: Ph3 5dr Astor HDi - puglove - 29-03-2014

i think the 7 - 800 mark is right. if some one was ro buy it they would be shelling out 2-300 straight away just to get it legal/safe. I.E beam&tyres. that considered it would male it around £1000 - 1100 car which would be about right without those issues

Best colour

Best of luck with the sale Smile

Obviously fixing the problems will help it's saleability

It's going to get fixed up, and i'm keeping it.

I love it really, just getting annoyed with it looking a state
