Cheddar Meet - 24/03/2014 - mr_fish - 24-03-2014

Awesome day yesterday glad I travelled up.

Only got a couple photos and videos.

Highlights being, the gorge run (even if we had to anchor up a bit sharpish at times), Food (obviously), and the convoy to Trents which resulted in me overtaking Dum Dum (couldn’t stand the smell of the veg any more) then watching in my rear view mirror as he took so rather noticeable bumps in the road at speed….oh and getting to operate an agricultural machine…

Pictures

One of Paul’s 205 GTi 6. Cannot believe the tightness of the fit. Must be a right hoot to drive though!

Then at Trent’s looking at his donor vehicle

Which started off as talk of ‘just taking the radiator out’ resulted in ‘lets remove the whole engine’

With a video of Dum Dum showing how to get the job done.

Then the professionals departed…and left myself, Zak and Trent to deal with the engine.

Break out the machine…

I always enjoy these weekends "what did you do on the weekend zakk?"

Oh, you know, drove to cheddar to drive around, laugh at some stuff then watch a man hit a 306 with an axe

RE: Cheddar Meet - 24/03/2014 - Dum-Dum - 24-03-2014

I left as there was nothing else I could remove with a hammer or an axe. That and it was only the stuff underneath left to undo.

Great photos and videos Mark.

I only got 1 picture and you've probably all seen it on Facebook

A big thank you to everyone for attending!

Even bigger thank you to DumDum, Connor, Mark and Zack for getting this lump out of the old girl!

There should be a car for the lump to go in very soon (end of the week fingers crossed).

It should be good.. Wink

Few pictures of the lump and donor:
