new drivers insurance - cully - 21-03-2014 got to look for some insurance for kayley 2002 206 1.1 valued around £700 throw some names in the pot guys of companys you have used and if it was through a compare site or direct please RE: new drivers insurance - willJspears - 21-03-2014 go through comparison sites, then ring the company up that gave you the cheapest quote, then you can wangle a deal. thats what i did for my first year of driving RE: new drivers insurance - Midnightclub - 21-03-2014 I used A-Plan (broker) to get me cheaper insurance on the HDi when I was younger, managed to beat everywhere else RE: new drivers insurance - THE_Liam - 21-03-2014 To be honest mate, a lot of companies we use probably won't work out cheap for Kayley, but here's my suggestions: Brentacre Chris Knott Flux (maybe message Jordan?) Sky Greenlight I can't speak highly enough of Brentacre truth be told... RE: new drivers insurance - cully - 21-03-2014 our local broker just refused to give a quote for under 18's hence why ive got to resort to the tinternet RE: new drivers insurance - Dum-Dum - 21-03-2014 Most of the specialists like flux, sky and CK refuse to quote on young drivers. Think there is actually a company called young driver insurance RE: new drivers insurance - laurence_13 - 21-03-2014 Cheapest way is to get one of those black box's fitted it seems... most of my friends have them, they do all hate them though. The ones that dont have a black box are either with elephant or LV ![]() RE: new drivers insurance - willJspears - 21-03-2014 tbf yound drivers have a downer on black boxes, but i have one and its fairly leanient. and isnt that bad. you only have to stick with them for a year, and for a cheap quote, you cant complain. i had a 1.4 mk4 golf for my first car and with a black box 3rd party fire n theft it came to £1300. just have to bite the bullet and pay up. without a black box it was up £3000. RE: new drivers insurance - lolsteve - 21-03-2014 Elephant were my cheapest for the hdi when i started, then switched to aviva RE: new drivers insurance - 1616six - 21-03-2014 Give us a try at flux, I don't work on quotes anymore so I can't personally quote but I can arrange a call back if you PM me? RE: new drivers insurance - Toms306 - 21-03-2014 My sisters with Flux as they were cheapest (17 y/o, 1.0 Corsa) , she hasn't passed yet though. Apart from them, try Admiral group (Admiral, Elephant, Bell, Diamond etc) doesn't really matter which one as they all match quotes lol. And add yourself and your wife to the policy as named drivers, will drop it loads. RE: new drivers insurance - bigcheez2k3 - 21-03-2014 I was with Quinn for my first 2 years then Admiral. However my parents were on mine to make it remotely affordable. RE: new drivers insurance - Dum-Dum - 21-03-2014 IIRC Admiral were cheap for me when I first started driving but that was a decade ago RE: new drivers insurance - amiek - 21-03-2014 always found diamond where the cheapest for me, I paid about £700 on my ka. passed when i was 18 and had a claim in my first year. they always come up top on compare sites. super easy to deal with, and can make any changes to the policy online, almost instantly. RE: new drivers insurance - cully - 21-03-2014 thanks guys nd girls good info cars MOT'd, now she's bugging me to drive it but she has to wait, tax insurance and a drive shaft wont be long though ![]() Re: new drivers insurance - kentiiboii - 21-03-2014 1st choice central was good for my ex when she just passed. Also try admiral if they can pay I one go they're good new drivers insurance - devils_fuel - 21-03-2014 Try Woodbury insurance brokers in cheddar, been cheap for me around 10yrs ish. Completely independent so can go across 20 or so underwriters, so fingers crossed, get a quote for yourself ![]() 01934 742550 RE: new drivers insurance - Sian - 21-03-2014 My cousin has a black box in his car only way he could get insured think his was £700 on a 1litre 2005 plate corsa. When you go on comparison sites it gives you the option to have black box companys. They just monitor your speed and mileage ![]() |
