clutch spring - ripp444 - 15-03-2014 I have seen on here some people remove the spring from the clutch pedal. could anybody tell me the advantage of doing this and should i remove mine. (gti 6). many thanks. RE: clutch spring - gretsch-drummer - 16-03-2014 When I removed mine it got rid of the stiffness right at the bottom of the travel as that is when you start to compress the stuuuuupidly stiff spring. RE: clutch spring - Niall - 16-03-2014 There was a recall to remove them shortly after the PH3 was released. It was causing some clutches to slip and wear prematurely. Sack it off. Also makes the clutch feel much nicer. RE: clutch spring - ginge191 - 16-03-2014 Is there a guide or a few tips in removing them? Need to rid mine RE: clutch spring - Niall - 16-03-2014 lol its literally just two ball joints. Use a flat head to pop the clips out of the ball joint cups then pull it off (giggidy) |
